SOLAR ZOETROPE KIT











Light can play trick on eyes and this model does exactly that. We know that the pictures inside the drum are still pictures, but when the drum is turned the animals and characters appear to move.

A Victorian style toy in kit form - our kit consists of: A4 Pictures on paper, A4 black card, a wooden disc, a correx base, (New models have a wooden base) Solar motor wired to a solar cell and instructions.  This is an easy to make zoetrope, similar in style to our hand operated version.

This model is powered by light so once made just place by a window or somewhere with good light and watch the animation.
