This is ideal for Teachers to demonstrate the white light is made up of the Rainbow
colours. Our kit is simple to construct - pack contains printed circular disc (to
be cut out), blank disc as a spare, Corex black disc to mount colour sheet on, stick,
straw, and 3 cogs and instructions. This unit designed by us, helps to demonstrate
Newton’s discovery that white light is made up of the seven colours of the rainbow
(spectrum)
Once this has been made - simply hold the straw underneath the disc and twist the
lower cog. The faster the better. It is big enough to use in a classroom and when
spinning fast the colours will go a creamy white.
